Over the past decade, Maryam Rabi has been engaged in urban conservation in the historic Walled City of Lahore. She is a consulting architect at the Aga Khan Cultural Services-Pakistan and has worked on award-winning projects such as the conservation of the Shahi Hammam. Maryam is currently also conducting research, and is a consulting preservation planner for an ongoing project in Indonesia.
